Here’s the second of three posts about our girls grip to Round Hill Resort in Jamaica! Read part I here.

Now that I’ve shared about our accommodations and Round Hill Resort‘s amenities, here’s the play-by-play of our stay!
Wednesday Afternoon
After we settled into our rooms, we headed down to find lunch.
Lunch by the water
We had lunch at the main restaurant, which was outdoor and gorgeous. They brought the best crunchy chips and tapenade to snack on while our orders were prepared.

I had the pumpkin seed salad with fresh snapper on top – it was perfect! I commented how fresh the lettuce tasted and learned it was grown in the property’s organic garden.

Afternoon by the ocean
It’s always so great to get out of airport clothes and take a dip in the ocean to cool off. The humidity in Jamaica was very sticky, even for a humidity lover like me! We had perfect weather and spent a lot of time alternating between reading and swimming.

Spritz O’Clock!

Back up at our villa, we made a point to get in our pool every afternoon before showering for dinner!

The sunsets from our view were lovely.

Manager’s Cocktail

On Wednesdays there is a special cocktail hour for guests hosted by the staff. We had rum punch surrounded by tiki torches while listening to live music.

Jamaican Curry Night
I absolutely loved the ambiance in the evenings under the string lights. While there is only one main restaurant, the menu changes every evening. Wednesday was Jamaican Curry Night!

I had a coconut dal soup –

And we shared a steak and vegetable curry dishes –

The pianist was excellent ambiance too –

Back at the villa, we had my sister’s birthday cake for dessert!

Thursday
Breakfast was included with our villa each morning, and we had a menu to fill out the night before. Carol, Marlene, and Joy did a lovely job making it special for us!

Omelets, tropical fruit, and oatmeal.

Power Walk
After breakfast we went for a power walk up the hill on the fitness trail and found the resort’s organic garden!

They grow all kinds of lettuces, spinach, and arugula, plus herbs, tomatoes, and more all used in the restaurant.

Round Hill Resort Tour
My sister arranged for a site tour of some of the villas on the property so she could scout them out for future travel clients. We first toured the “Pineapple Rooms” in the main building. They still felt very intimate, and were designed by Ralph Lauren. And they had some of the best oceanfront views.

Villa Tours
While our villa was amazing, some of the bigger ones were simply stunning! Each one was little different, and the further up the hill you got, the better the views!

Lunch!
We had our second lunch of the trip and shared the pork nachos and another great salad.
