I've been using the trial or "travel size" versions of Freeman products for a few months now and I really like them! I purchased the 0.5 oz packets for $2.00 each at Sally's and they are great for testing out whether or not the product is right for you. So far I've tried the Honeydew and Camomile Sleeping Mask which I love, the Sweet Tea & Lemon Peel-Away Clay Mask which was alright, and the Dead Sea Minerals Anti-Stress Mask which was also very nice. But I also bought the trial size of this mask, the Charcoal & Black Sugar Polish Mask. I hadn't used it in the past months despite just learning about my love for exfoliating, but I figured that because I enjoyed the last few masks I tried that I would go ahead and buy the full size! There are a few reasons why I really recommend buying the full size. The first being that you get literally 10 times the product for only three times the price. At $6.47 for 6.0 ounces at Walmart the full size offers much more than the $2.00 for 0.5 ounces in the trial size.
As for the actual product, I really like it! I just tried it tonight and it was quite an interesting experience. I will say that this is the first Freeman product that I've tried that actually smells nice. The other products don't "reek" per-se but baby powder and play-doh aren't really pleasing smells to me, but I can get over that if the product is very beneficial. This product, however, could easily be confused for a very light, floral perfume! My father described the look of the product as a "very concerning monkey poo" as it is pitch black with many large granules of black sugar in it. It is warm when stored at room temperature and feels very gooey and thick to the touch. Applying it to the face is very nice and coarse, just how I prefer my exfoliating scrubs! I applied it heavily and rubbed it into my driest areas, one of which being my eyebrows. I had just plucked my eyebrows lightly to remove stray hairs and my skin was a bit irritated, but my skin is not very sensitive otherwise so I decided to see how the exfoliating would affect my skin. To my surprise it made my entire face very smooth, including my eyebrows! People often forget to apply product (that is non-hair removing or peeling) on the eyebrows as well because there is skin under there. This product took great care of my skin and even my eyebrow hairs, so I definitely have to recommend it and any Freeman 'Feeling Beautiful' face products!
